Career Development Facilitator 2 University of New Mexico (UNM) Office of Career Services Marty Apodaca is a Career Development Facilitator 2 at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Office of Career Services. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Mexico and carries a devotion to Career Counseling and Supervision. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and previously earned his MA in Counseling from UNM. Marty is responsible for the training and supervision of master level interns at UNM Career Services. He was a past president of the New Mexico Career Development Association and an active member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), American Counseling Association (ACA), and New Mexico Counseling Association. Marty is an alumni of the NCDA Leadership Academy Class of 2017. Marty enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion of career counseling through presenting nationally for NCDA and ACA. Recently, Marty served as faculty in Kent, Ohio for the second annual Career Construction Institute. Over the past 9 years, Marty has studied and implemented the Career Construction Interview (CCI) with clients and groups. He enjoys teaching both new and seasoned counselors on implementing the CCI with clients. Marty’s devotion is to help clients share, connect with, and ultimately develop authorship over their stories. |
